In our latest customer spotlight, we chatted with Lee Goldstein, a local DC real estate agent, and avid Contactually user. Lee is currently a managing partner and associate broker at RLAH Real Estate. Lee has over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been ranked consistently in the top 5% of real estate agents nationally. Lee builds his real estate business around being a local, neighborhood based, and customer service oriented agent.  Market expertise, the highest level of integrity, and unparalleled customer relationships have led him to become one of the most respected agents in the Washington, D.C. region. Prior to becoming a Partner at Real Living At Home, Lee founded and managed his own successful brokerage firm, Northgate Realty. Lee is also extremely active in the real estate community. He earned the GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute) designation in 2004, an accolade reserved for those agents most dedicated to the real estate industry. Contactually Announcement: A New Partnership with First.io

Contactually Announcement: A New Partnership with First.io

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our partnership with First.io, a great step forward for Contactually as a whole in intelligence and real estate agent productivity. This partnership will generate a new Contactually product, powered by First, that will give real estate agents unseen, proactive knowledge about their network and will automatically provide recommendations to users when a contact is likely to list their home in the next six months. A brand new way to use Contactually The new partnership with First – a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to pinpoint when homeowners are most likely to move – will help real estate agents better respond to and manage clients needs. “Our platform allows users to stay top-of-mind with their entire networks, resulting in more leads and referrals,” says Contactually co-Founder and CEO Zvi Band. “Agents want to ensure they are always building relationships with the right people, so being able to predict who is more likely to move is something we’ve always wanted to offer. With our powerful yet easy to use platform, users can automatically begin communicating with these contacts as soon as their moving intentions are predicted, keeping them many steps ahead of their competitors.” This is the first of many initiatives involving artificial intelligence and machine learning that will further add value to our customers moving forward in 2017 and beyond. This new product we’re rolling out with First will regularly assess a real estate agent’s contacts in Contactually using a market-leading AI and machine learning platform, and then predict when a client is most likely to move. The business or agent will be automatically...
Contactually Named in Swanepoel Power 200

Contactually Named in Swanepoel Power 200

Every year, Stefen Swanepoel’s firm names the top 200 leaders, movers, shakers, and all around trendsetters in the real estate industry. Past honorees have included leaders from realtors.com, Zillow, Realogy and HomeServices of America. Swanepoel notes that countless debates, research and discussion goes into the final list of 200 and those that are chosen are picked because of what they’ve contributed to the real estate industry. “We aim to hold a mirror up to the industry, reflecting residential real estate back to itself by noting who wields the most power and influence (and in what order), whether by position, personal power, employee count, reputation and trajectory.”  Beyond the Power 200 This year, in addition to their annual Power 200 list, Swanepoel created a few new supplemental lists alongside the Power 200 of folks that shouldn’t be left out or forgotten. These four lists are the 20 Under 40, the Trendsetters, the Social Influencers, and the Outside Powers. If you check out the Trendsetters list, you’ll find our very own CEO and Co-Founder Zvi Band right there at the top. What it means to be a trendsetter Swanepoel’s criteria for the trendsetters they named on the list were “innovators, dealmakers, and movers-and-shakers who made a noteworthy impact over the last year.” Zvi is in good company here and you’ll find everyone from Conor McCluskey, the Founder and CEO of BombBomb, to Amber Taufen, the Editor-in-Chief at Inman, and Chris Drayer, the founder of Revaluate on the list. All of these folks have found innovative ways to implement technology into the lives of real estate agents to make their day-to-day more productive, the lead...
Founder’s Day 2016: Celebrating 5 Years as Contactually

Founder’s Day 2016: Celebrating 5 Years as Contactually

Since our company’s inception in October of 2011, we’ve found different ways to celebrate Founder’s Day and this year, of course, was no exception. This was my first Founders Day and I had big expectations to live up to. This year, we turned five. This is a very special milestone for startups, cause if you’ve made it this far, you’re probably doing something right.  Founder’s Day 2015 included a highly contentious scavenger hunt that had the entire company running around DC…. We went in a slightly different direction this year to great success – if I do say so myself – and after several months of planning, we arrived at a near perfect day to celebrate Contactually and everything we do, represent, and love. Leading up to the big day, I met with the Founders a few times in the planning process to see what had been done for prior Founder’s Day and collect feedback on what they’d like to see this year. For the most part, they let me run wild with my ideas (for which I am very appreciative). As I ran wild with my ideas, I also kept them a secret from most of the company and it wasn’t until we got to our first destination on the morning of, they had no idea what was in store for the whole day.  Read on for the FULL story of our Founder’s Day… Okay, so after a delicious breakfast of biscuits and a brief presentation in the office from Zvi and some of our longstanding employees, we all piled on to a bus and headed east….to Annapolis, Maryland. Like...

It quickly became clear to us that real estate agents needed more than what we were already providing in our professional plan at Contactually, so we turned around and spent months coming up with a solution. We are so excited to announce our newest plan: The Real Estate Accelerator. After hours of talking to hundreds real estate professionals, it was clear they want and need three things: They want to save time They want to communicate more effectively They want to grow their business How Will the Real Estate Accelerator Help Me Save Time? As an account executive here at Contactually, my job is to learn everything I can about my client’s business goals, so that I can help them determine whether or not Contactually will be a good fit for their business. Seasonal Email Templates to be Grateful For This Fall

Seasonal Email Templates to be Grateful For This Fall

Here at Contactually we talk a lot about Email Templates. What are they? At Contactually we like to think of Email Templates as a pre-written message. Below is Webster’s online definition of a template. Template: noun ● tem·plate ● \ˈtem-plət\ computers : a computer document that has the basic format of something (such as a business letter, chart, graph, etc.) and that can be used many different times. But what the Webster’s definition leaves out is the value that Email Templates can add to a user’s life. You may underestimate or brush off the idea of utilizing a pre-written email template as an less-personalized approach to your email and messaging outreach. But, we’re here to argue that using an email template is one of the best ways to start your outreach process and gives you solid base from which to start building those very personal emails and messages to your network.  3 Reasons to Use Holiday Email Templates: Why Use Email Templates? 1. Email Templates help with efficiency. Let’s say you want to wish 100 contacts a “Happy Halloween!” Can you imagine how long it would take to write that email FIFTY times? Besides carpal tunnel making an appearance into your wrists, who has the time to do that? Email templates allow you to send a personal and individualized email without having to type it out over and over again. Your hands and wrists will thank us if your clock doesn’t! 2. Email Templates help you with what to say. Often times people recognize they need to communicate with a contact in order to stay top of mind, but,...
